Front Balustrade has been done - will be painted gloss white.

Pool coping tiles have been laid. The random stone will radiate out from these formally laid stone tiles.

We LOVE the colours. The grout is a light grey when it is dry.

  1. Wow, your front balustrade looks so lovely! And the coping tiles around the pool are gorgeous, they have done a great job. But my favourite is the spoon drains and the flashing strips...

  6. Your pool is going to be fantastic. I love the idea of flanking the formal layout with randomly cut stone. It will be lovely.

Oh, it's good to see that you are getting the waterproofing under control. Our house flooded during construction because the gutters were left off of it for so long. Ugh. I know the kind of angst unwanted water causes!

  14. Oh yes, Judy inspired many things in this home. I love Judy's style. Hubby and I had her out for an official interior consult before we even started building. We poured over the plans and she gave some wonderful advice. I still remember the floor instructions- no red, no blonde, definitely brown tones... spotted gum was the closest I could find. Of course there's lots of wonderful brown choices out now though, since we've built! Judy inspired me to consider chandeliers. I have never been a glass chandelier person but I have found some 'middle ground chandeliers' which I will post pictures of soon. Judy also advised on cabinetry and making wallpaper and colour choices. I also have Judy to thank for my little pool house. I based it on a picture she posted on her blog of a gorgeous home in Byron Bay.... way back. I will have to publish a long list of things in my home and who inspired them! I have received so much wonderful advice from so many bloggy friends and I am always receiving emails with light fitting suggestions, fabric combinations and even furniture layouts! This house would not be what it is today if it wasn't for this wonderful bloggy medium. A-M xx
