Image Courtesy Canadian House and HomeIsn't this a gorgeous laundry!... the beautiful blue, the flowers, I spy some rattan (addicted to the stuff) oh look, there's another floor runner (I'm seeing them everywhere now!)......... and what a great idea - a coat rack in a laundry. If I didn't have tiles, right up to the cabinets in my laundry, I'd steal that idea!
I must say, I am enjoying my laundry. Having space to sort and fold does keep one more organised... and I have big son well trained. "When you see that pretty basket, full of folded clothes, that's your cue, to take it upstairs and put it all away". So when he walks past the laundry, I scream out "basket?" .... and he dutifully trots upstairs with it... just like the Pavlov's dog experiments... easy!
Don't forget to enter my Spring Giveaway (previous post)... my boys are cutting up all the names, for the draw on the weekend. I sound like a bit of a 'taskmaster', don't I? Their future wives will thank me for all their training! A-M xx

ReplyDeleteOh A-M, they sure will thank you. With 3 boys of my own, I think it is really important to "train them young". It's good for them. And yes love that laundry but is that a coat rack or a towel rack?

ReplyDeleteHow old are your sons? My daughter's 9. Could we do a deal? Love the laundry. You should see mine. It's about 2m square and hideous. One day I will have one just like this image, or yours.

That beautiful laundry makes me want to view the rest of the house. My previous laundry was a dream, I was always up to date with washing etc. My current laundry is a nightmare and the family are always asking where all their clothes are, lol.

ReplyDeleteThe laundry is fabulous. What I really wanted to say is good on you for training the boys. I did the same with my now 22 year old (he can even iron a shirt is better in the kitchen than his father will ever be)But be warned there comes a time when they just don't seem to have learn't any of the lessons you taught. You can only hope when there on their own they remember them once again.
