Well It Was Empty

Look! A beautiful, empty in-tray.
Photo? - hubby and I in Cesky Krumlov in the Czech Republic, circa 1995.

...... so my in-tray was clear/empty/vacant... for the first time in about 12 months..... oh it felt so good! ...... so we popped out to:

....snuggle our friend's newborn baby daughter (hello little 'Grace Ella') and have an emergency holiday sushi session. When we arrived back home... my in-tray was full again. Grrr. Hubby had his own massive in-tray clean out while we were away and 'delegated'. So today... I start all over again. You know what that means.. diversionary tactics will prevail all day... everything but the in-tray...my cupboards will be so ordered and tidy, all my bloggy friends will get a visit, I'll play games with the boys and I might even get the ironing pile down!
Have a great day!
A-M xx

  1. Now that is what i call orderly!! Oh if anyone could see my desk in the blog world they would cringe..all thats to change of course. Love little Grace with the dummy firmly plugged in - aww i've gone clucky! Mel xx

  2. After getting back from a well rested holiday yesterday I decided to tackle my own intray and this morning I am still going...cup of tea in hand and reading your blog....hopefully I can keep on top of it this year.

  3. Oh A-M, the dreaded ironing pile... it never ends! I was promised an ironing lady in 2010 and I can't wait to hand over my basket!

  4. You should see my intray, just disgusting, it is my number 1 item on today's To Do List, to clear it out that and the message board.
Your photo is my inspiration for today!

  5. Sounds like you have my talent for avoiding the in-tray! Enjoy! Tracey xx

  6. ahhh, such a good feeling to have it empty. those darn husbands. love grace's name..she's destined to be a beauty with a name so pretty.

  7. hahaha..I remember how blissful it felt to have that intray empty at work..but only lasted for like 20min..then a fresh pile of work load would appear.
The boys looks so cute holding weee baby Grace Ella....just adorable.

Thanks so much for the feedback to my post A-M...really appreciate it...will certainly be doing my homework over the week. X

  8. My 'in tray' is on my 'to do' this but i am going to mark it 'pending' KG

  9. oh, I have been putting off tidying up my millinery studio. It's become the dumping ground while we organise storage in our garage and it looks so sad and miserable. Hopefully this week it will be sorted.... Good on you for getting through a yucky yucky task!

  10. I love your posts. Yes I have been avoiding my intray too to a point where it can be avoided any more. If only I can stay away from my blogger reader I might actually get some work done.
Your boys look so cute handling the baby gently :)

  11. I don't think my intray has a bottom (at least i haven't seen it for quite some time...). However I was admiring that lovely diary on your desk Miss AM! your boys look so beautiful with little Grace Ella- love that new born smell and feel.
My last comment must be out there in the black hole of comments - was just saying how much barbie loved the French Bee napkins and Vicki Archers 'French Essence' - she is keen to join the land of blogging at the wonderful age of 69!
    Are you free next week

  12. I would love to be able to see the bottom...its gone completely
    Ness xx

  13. Oh, I love Cesky Krumlov! Hardly anyone I know has heard of it, let alone visited! I was there for three delightful days in 2004. Great food, gorgeous views and oh, the bears! Also one of the best mojitos I've ever had in my life!

Thank you for reminding me of the fun, A-M!

Thanks for stopping by and taking the time to leave me a comment. I love hearing from you. A-M xx
