Die Katze ist süss! Habt Ihr die jetzt mitgenommen? Ich bewundere dein Blog! Dein Haus ist wirklich was besonderes!Grüße aus Deutschland!
Yes - a good idea! (and they clean themselves....he he!) he looks like a nice kitty too! KG
Well after four years of asking we got a little Burmese kitten a couple of weeks ago for my 7 year old and I am pleased we did she loves him so much, and it gives her some responsibility and yet another 'thing' to cuddle. Just a pity about my mild cat allergy! xoxo
That is gorgeous! It's a tender soul that can love a cat..not everyone likes them! We have two tabbies and they're wonderful (and clean!) I can just see your little one with puss sleeping contentedly on the end of his bed..(convinced yet?) Rxx
The same situation occurred in our house recently. My husband and are not cat people.....but we now have a cat! It has meant so much to the children, they adore our little kitty and he has been no trouble (which is just as well). I doubt you would regret it. Maybe when you move into your new home :-)
We walked past a house this morning on our way to school and someone had carefully placed a dead cat on a piece of tarpaulin by the letterbox. Master 6 commented on how sad the occupants would be at the death of their cat. Trying to put a positive spin on the situation, I pointed out that wasn't it nice that it had been removed from the road so it didn't become squashed. Master 6 said "yeah, now they can say goodbye".
Yes, I think you should have :)
I'd be happy to send you mine. Your boys would love the vampire slayer! :)
Hmm, I think getting a cat may slighlty limit your potential renting pool. I don't generally like cats, but, I met a lovely ragdoll kitten the other day. It was not creepy, just sweet.
Oh how sweet are the? My daughter would love for us to have a kitty but we seem to have too many animals already. A small petting zoo to be exact. That is why the other parents in the neighborhood don't need to get their kids pets, we own them all, lol!
So sweet! You should get a cat, look how happy they are!
We were always dog people but when we moved into our new house our yard was a lot smaller and so we bought not just one cat but 2. I love them! they are not as friendly as dogs but I like the fact you have to earn their respect plus they are a lot cleaner.PS your boys are cute!
I love cats, and my children beg for one constantly but my husband is allergic. Which he says he could deal with if it didnt affect his asthma so much, so no cat for us!! :( But cats are a wonderful pet, very clean and loving when they want to be!! Good luck in making your decision!
Cute post. Thanks for popping in to the Fibro and leaving a comment. Looking forward to reading more about your house - which looks amazing - and to your rental woes... not that I hope you have more woes, but you know what I mean... :-)
Oh well you'd get my vote! I love cats - love their independent spirit and yet they are so loving. (For the purposes of full disclosure here: I'm extremely biased - I have 5 of them). :)
I just caught up on your last post and then this one and have to share a wee story. The first rental that hubby and I shared as poor students was a half of an old villa where the previous tenant had been an old lady that lived there for 17 years with 17 cats. Needless to say we found cat fur in every conceivable crevice!!! to add to that there was no shower just a bath and no oven just one working element (with cat fur stuck around it!!!!!!) on that note good luck and be sure to stick with less than 17 cats :)
I love ragdolls...just not sure about all that fur everywhere! Mel xxx
SO cute! Do you have room for a cat with all the pet bugs that temporarily live at your place? :) Flick
My sister borrows a cat - Happy is a Siamese from two doors away and obviously feels he owns the block... there are advantages!
Thanks for stopping by and taking the time to leave me a comment. I love hearing from you. A-M xx
