Ha! That photo is gold. Well done on the magazine feature. I'm sure there will be a spike in readership of Home Beautiful. Even I bought one...and I never buy magazines.
Hi A-M, my home beautiful arrived last week and i took it to Noosa with me on the weekend, what a lovely read. I'm also about to embark on a similar journey at Samford.
Yay, you have got your hands on one, finally. Isn't it just beautiful!!! I would leave a trail of them - everywhere. Doctors, dentist, school, hairdressers, everywhere. Guests could get a complimentary copy. It is just so exciting. Congrats.
Ran out 1st thing this morning to get my copy, flicked through the pages and........NO PICCY OF YOU, A-M!!!! *wags finger* Never mind, the anonymity will make your posts, that much more interesting. Great article, apart from no pic of you! Of course, your home is divine. Congrats!!
Congratulations ...finally got a copy today at local newsagents ..only two left...and that was lunch time... Your house looks even more amazing..love it..great story thanks for sharing so much of yourself..and I agree no photo...or how could you possibly enjoy your sushi !!!! Hugs Kym X
Fantastic A-M I still haven't seen it.. but glad that you finally have.. truly wonderful... Now this will sound weird.. but I figured you were brunette!! haha... don't ask me why..
Finally!!! What a great way to have some time alone and to recover your lungs! Hope you are feeling better.
I left a message on your other blog about the design of American houses. I wrote a post on my blog yesterday dedicated to you girls from Australia. Hope you guys like it. Please, spread the news to your friends, so they have a chance to check it out. Take care, dear!
I'll agree with the brunette comment! Hope you are felling better too - good to see the mag in your hot little hand! Enjoy! No copy at my newsagent today so am hoping for one tomorrow. KG
Hooray - so how far have you made it into the magazine?? So happy you finally have a copy - presuming (hoping) it continues to poke out the top of your handbag everywhere you go for weeks to come! Leanne xx
haha great shot! Cheers. Glad you were able to get a copy of the mag. A bit rough that you weren't offered one for free. I hope to get one tomorrow if there are any left at the newsagency by the time I finish work. Ran out of time to get one today.
Strangely I was part of the "thought you were a brunette" brigade also. hmm what is it with us all?
I was just having a closer look at your lovely home at half time at the footy. Loved all your comments and the way your husband described your conversations! It's a gorgeous article about a gorgeous home. I think Blogland is celebrating..Rxx
Hi A-M! Nice to finally see the mag in your hot little hand! I got my copy today and your home looks even more amazing in print!!! Been reading your blog for a while now, I just love your kitchen, which I will use for inspiration with building our new house, once we sell our current home here in Perth. You have a great sense of design and a wonderful dialogue on your blog, just keep it all coming, I love it! Kate.x.
Funny story...I popped into the local newsagent to buy the magazine yesterday, you must of had one (or many) copies on hold as when I placed it on the counter the newsagent eagerly said "are you A-M?"
I remember getting my first copy of Home Beautiful with our house in it. It was a great day for me too, You will be very proud of this for a long time to come. Great achievement A-M It's been great following your house being built It certainly is magazine worthy. Would love some tips on building my place too. I am having to be very patient. Hayley xx
This is where I muse about home design, interiors, my life, my boys and stuff that sort of stops my heart. I have an online store full of my favourite Hamptons style lighting over at www.capecoddesigns.com.au ... and ... I'm currently planning my next house build.
