Might have somewhere to live. Ready for the paradigm shift? My new favourite blog will be THIS ONE. It was you guys who suggested it.
It was the resident's herb garden that got me...... and the gorgeous pool (that someone else will clean) and the river...and the parks.. and the local restaurants... and the brand new smell. Just have to change the mindset a bit. But it will be a great long 'holiday' for a while. Will know more tomorrow. The best part? - "Mum, how many more sleeps until I get to sleep in the same room as Brynley?"... they're excited. Gotta try everything once hey! 7.12pm - it's bed time for me... just had to fill you in. Oh and the steroids have well and truly kicked in.... my lungs are getting a rest and I don't sound too much like a 0055 number any more.
Thanks for your support and kind words. You've helped me more than you know.
A-M xx

Good to hear things are looking up a bit, especially on the health front. Being ill never helps matters.
ReplyDeleteSmall space living is something I know all about, having spent most of my married life living in 'postage stamp places'. The secret is to remember that vertical space is as important as horizontal - use it! I love the sound of the herb garden, pool etc. and as a stop gap I'm sure you can be happy there. Fingers crossed that it comes about or you.
There are some wise people out there in blogland. I hope it all works out and you have a nice place to call home for a little while.
ReplyDeleteI hope this comes through for you A-M I was starting to worry. I was beginning to think you might have to go camping for a few months until you find something Ha ha. I love small place style. They were one of the very first blogs to be very sweet and kind when I first started blogging. Hope it is all happy news. Rest up.
ReplyDeleteA-M, thank you for the update, I have been thinking of you of late, here's hoping that the move will not be too stressfull for you all.
ReplyDeleteSo glad to know the steroids have finally kicked in.
Please take care.
Sending you loads of love. xox
That's it A-M. Focus on the positives and the fact that it is not for forever. Glad to hear that you are feeling better.

It might be nice to simplify for a while..After all, any house for rent is never going to measure up! I've been thinking of you and I'm just sorry we live in different states, I would love to help out. It sounds like it will be a great little adventure for the boys..my girls LOVE sharing a room. I had Bridget come and give me a cuddle at about 4am this morning and it wasn't long before she said, "I need my sister".. I really hope you have a good rest and it all works out.. Rachaelxx
ReplyDeleteReally, really pleased to hear you're feeling (and sounding) a bit better. Living in a townhouse I can't believe I didn't know about this blog! Living.loving.small is another you might like to check out. Glad your little one is excited too! All the very best to the four of you during this smallish interlude!!
ReplyDeleteThis sounds so exciting! I was in Brisbane a couple of weekends ago and travelled along the river via CityCat. I'm a "country girl" at heart but couldn't help but but drool over the beautiful (clean/fresh/cosmopolitan)looking apartments fronting the river and the abundance of parks and interesting looking cafes and restaurants surrounding them. I think it would be fantastic to experience apartment living (particularly in such a fabulous location and city!). I can just see you - up early in the morning -brisk walk along the beautiful riverside - morning coffee on the balcony overlooking the river - minimal housework and lots of time to enjoy exploring shops and cafes as well as making plans for your next venture. Love it! Great for the boys as well. I still remember hearing the muffled sounds of late night chats and giggling laughter that used to come from my Adam and Matthew's room when they "shared". Very special. Used to remind me of "The Waltons" - "goodnight John boy!....." Takes me back. Will keep my fingers cross that it works out okay. Keep happy!
