Oh Yes

Ok, so I don't have my land yet.... but these are the stairs. These are them. Oh yes sir. Perfect for a narrow block, I reckon (disclaimer: personal opinion only). Love the window on the landing. Oh look and there's the perfect spot for my Rococo sofa, currently hiding under a Thomas the Tank Engine sheet in storage. Anyone in Brisbane capable of these? Please step forward. I am interviewing now. No land.. but interviewing for stairs.

  2. Oh, these stairs are lovely indeed. Like the song "Stairway to Heaven." Stairs are a good staring place. The window has me too at first look.

    Build the stairs, the land will come. :O)

  10. I love those stairs! Have you already thought of the materials you will use to build them (are you thinking of using the same stuff as in the last house)? Who are you leaning towards tradies-wise this time? Some of the same folks or mixing it up this time? I just love when you pick out a particular item you want to put in your new house!

I just love everyone saying good morning to each other! so sweet. seriously addictive. hence I am following only few! same house style as last time (I'm a Northern Hemisphere girl). got my builders lined up. perfectionists. good match. just waiting for the golden land... and ramping up the study in the meantime. Hi A-M, just letting you know that I live in the bayside suburbs of Brisbane (Redlands) and my partner and his father run a construction company- they are one of the top contractors for Leightons currently doing the Eagle Street project- and are the builders for large renovations in Chappel Hill, Morningside, The Gap (which is a massive reno to the likes of $500,000 and are using 4 interior decorators). They are amazing and are highly reliable and do not skimp on quality. They are even recommended by the BSA. Just thought I would let you know! They are called Liona Constructions.
