Famous Last Words......

.... from an eight year old playing with his birthday presents: "Dad, can I have a go now?"

We had a wonderful reptile birthday party yesterday. Will share some great photos with you next week. Today?... I am cleaning out onion flavoured eskys and soaking green food colouring out of whites.

What a delightfully cheeky grin, A-M! Gorgeous. Oh, no, green food colouring on whites? Are they of the Napisan or bleach variety? Sympathy heading your way from Hobart - I am trying to Napisan strawberry stains out of India's white top at the moment...J x

Hey, K, at first glance I thought it was a frog... then I was informed of the teeth. This boy mothering gets challenging at times! Jane - Napisan is magically doing the trick! Love that 'oxy-action'! Can anyone help with advice for removing onion odour from a plastic esky? Bleah! Actually big son's lunch esky... he's not impressed! A-M xx

Looks like he had a fabulous party. Maybe try bicarb soda left in the esky overnight, I think it is supposed to remove odours.

Enjoy the rest of the weekend :)

Vanilla spray!

Sounds like a wonderful day! And we use baking soda here to remove odors, just put some in a bowl inside the esky (I assume that's a lunch box?) and leave it for a few days. Best of luck!

Cute photo! Is this the pet lizard?

Bicarb and white vinegar mixed to form a paste, give it a good scrub and leave in the sun to dry.

If all of the above suggestions don't work, I find stainless steel 'soap' works a treat on hands to get rid of onion & garlic smells. Maybe you could try rubbing that around??? Good luck!
