If I Had A Doggie....

Image Via Tumblr

........I'd build him this.
Oh sweetie, have you been sent to your bed for this photo?

Would it work for a cat?

Now that's a real mud room.... plenty of mud.

Planning your next project somewhere where you need a proper mud room AM? It was my dream when we lived in rural England to have such a place. Constant wet outdoor clothes in the hallway was not a good look. By the way, doesn't work for a cat - I've spent a fortune on different cat beds and they will just find their own little comfy corner...however inconvenient. Have a nice Friday.x

Perfect place for my sausage dogs, but not enough room though for all the mud at my back door!!!! KG

How cute. We plan to get a dog when my children are a little older. I will have to remember this photo, looks great.

Obviously a very WELL TRAINED dog! My two would have their noses (well and truly) put out of joint if they were relegated to a mud room. ;)Sharyne

What a great design. I think it would work for a cat..we have a heated bed for our boys in the mudroom. I like the mats under the boots too, very practical. Rachaelxx

Adorable I agree, however in our household the two afghans would not even try it out! our mudroom has become an essential area I could not ever be without again..good idea to include that in your new home. xo Colette

I love this pic A-M - both the pup and the design. We have a blonde version of this pooch, and this pic pretty much sums up how our boy spends most of his day - except that it's usually spent curled up at my feet. He's quite partial to a comfy mattress though (usually the kids'!) so he might just like a lovely spot like this. K xx

And I bet there'd be tonnes of doggies lining up to stay in your home if you had this. The neat things you uncover about homes to share each day.....I love it!

Our Lulu would love a bed like that. I would love her to have a bed like that. Lovely.

Even in a glam room like that, our wellies wouldn't stack up. The Buzz Lightyear boots would clash with the Star Wars boots would clash with Mum's glamorous new tweedy ones. That dog's face says it all.

I so wish I had included something like this when we were building the house - the perfect place for the Rascal Bros and all those muddy wellies! Leigh

I would love a bootroom that looked like that, I'd love a bootroom fullstop. But that stylist has never had a dog or been for a muddy walk! It would like that for a nano-second!!xx

How gorgeous is that:). I love a home that has actually taken the trouble to have a decorated laundry or mudroom. That is true attention to detail. My naughty dog carries his bed around the house according to wear he wants to sleep at the time. Very cute until you trip over it in the middle of the night lol.

What a cutie! Oh for a bootroom like that - I am in DESPERATE need of a place to put my families Wellington boots, and as we're about to commit to a puppy - it all seems like the perfect arrangement! xx
