Storm Man!...AM he is growing up waaaaay too quickly...look at the size of those feet...hold onto that little boy tight..I already dread my little Jacq being out of nappies and being a big boy and doing No 1's and 2's on his own...Nooooo ; ) xxx
Storm Boy is a beautiful film, incredibly moving which usually means tears on my part. Yes I do suspect B is turning the corner into teenagehood A-Me. Are you getting any rays of sun on the coast? xx
I have just caught up on all your news. I am so sorry to hear that you were so dramatically effected by the floods. I can't believe you will be without power for another 3 weeks! You are so incredibly patient and calm about all-I am in awe!
Enjoy this precious time at the coast with your boys and take care of you.
Thanks A-M for your comment, it warmed my heart today. I'll send you another letter soon...hand-writing something is so comforting. Take care and much love to you and the boys. Stay strong and stay smiling!
That's a lovely photo and he does look very wise and contemplative. Hope this year at school is very exciting with lots of good times and great friends :)
Staring out at the ocean has magical healing powers I believe! ;-) Glad to see you and the boys are having a little vaca from all you've been through over the past few months!
Lovely photo and after the events of recent weeks I'm sure this break is just what was needed. As Kat says, for me the sea always has a calming and healing quality.

I wonder what is going through his head? I feel such sadness for what the boys have been through, but i'm so glad you have each other, that means more than anything, always thinking of you xx
How can you use the silly expression 'mother guilt' in the last post & be able to take beautiful photos of your boy like that?? You have zero to feel guilty for, keep embracing moments like this photo. Love Posie
A-M , what a mess over there , Ive watched a show from England on the BBC called Wanted Down Under where Brits get a week in AU or NZ to see if they would like to relocate. The program that is on now is from Fall of 2009/10 . Thinking of you and them that chose that area to relocate too :( Glad to know you didnt get any water damage persay in your Apt but your area. Hope it will be cleaned and up and running soon. Best of luck to you and the boys. Julie in Holland :)
This is where I muse about home design, interiors, my life, my boys and stuff that sort of stops my heart. I have an online store full of my favourite Hamptons style lighting over at www.capecoddesigns.com.au ... and ... I'm currently planning my next house build.
....I can see the sand between his toes.....
ReplyDeleteGorgeous photo A-M, my goodness isn't he growing up?
Isn't he! He is almost my height now.... my baby boy.
ReplyDeleteWow, I was going to say that too, he is looking so grown up. A real Young Man! I hope you're enjoying your time at the coast A-M.

ReplyDeleteA vision in tranquility
ReplyDeleteBeautiful capture! Enjoy your time along the shore and squish some extra sand between your toes for me!
ReplyDeleteDear A-M,
ReplyDeleteWater is so restorative. I, too (Verandah House), wonder what your son is thinking.
I hope the ocean is washing away your sorrows and cleansing your soul for your new life to begin.
P.S. You've got great and handsome guys by your side. Bugs and all!
