Once again my favourite French purveyor of fine pretties did not disappoint.
Look at these gorgeous new chairs!
Burlap with grey timber finishing. Sigh!
... and if anything is going to motivate me to build a kitchen around a piece of furniture again, it's going to be this beauty.
Look at the glass drawers. Be still heart.
... and look what's back in stock... after all this time....the stools from the kitchen in 'The House'. Yay!
They will still need to be modified for the height of a 900 kitchen bench as they are bar stool height and not kitchen bench height. I think my chippie cut about 10cm off the bottom of all of mine. They stayed with the house. I miss them so. Oh how I wish I currently had a kitchen bench.... just for these stools. Yay. Again.
.... and look at this gorgeous chaise.
... the detail... and in French Grey. Sigh.

These furniture are beautiful, all of them!
It was awful what happened in New Zealand, I feel so sad when these things happen.
So many lovely things. The homewares looked delicious too!
Yes so so sad about the poor Kiwi's. My heart breaks fo them.
Love all of this!
So many lovely items - I particularly like the glass draws. Very sad for NZ.
Well, my heart raced when I saw this stuff so I can only imagine what it was like up close!
I was very moved watching the NZ reports yesterday. Must have been so terrifying for them. Some people's stories of escape were incredible.
I can't wait to see you build your kitchen! Mimi xx
I'm drooling onto my keyboard! hehehehe... Just gorgeous!

Hi A-M
My sister is Villa Maison's store manager for the Cheltenham Concept Store in Melbourne. Everytime I go to the store my breath is taken away...it's set up like a home, a bedroom, lounge/sitting rooms, dinning room & even a working kitchen! Everything set up to perfection! On entering the store you are offered a freshly brewed coffee & biscuit, you are welcome to sit at the kitchen table or walk about sipping on your coffee. You never want to leave & I never leave empty handed! Jodi xx
I think I might rip out some of my kitchen cabinetry and install that beautiful glass drawed wonder. Rachaelxx
I'm so glad I'm not the only person to design a kitchen around a piece of furniture.
You must be in seventh heaven in this homewares environment. Everything is beautiful.
NZ = just tragic.

I want, no I NEED, that cupboard and everything in it!!
I knew you wouldn't be able to resist not blogging something from the trade fair and how wonderful it would be to have one of everything, well more of some things-like those chairs, from Villa Maison's display! as for missing the boys, it's good for Mums to have a break as it reminds us of who we were before we became "Mum", as nice as that is to!! glad you enjoyed it...
Oh wow, love anything remotely Provincial, gorgeous. Love Posie
That chaise was built for a broken back.
Mr IT is getting an emailed photo of one straight away.

Oh gosh...if only I had a home and wasn't going to be stuck in a rental for 6 months...le sigh.
I have an antique chaise from a distant relative but I would buy that one in a heartbeat. It's gorgeous. Thank you for sharing.
