No WAY! That's too scary to fathom. I just keep praying it will get smaller and not hit or something! Qld has dealt with enough...Jxx
This is very scary, the wind has picked up and rain has started. Just made honey joys for the kids who are busy playing and not noticing how stress their their mum and dad are.
Just shaking my head, tears pricking my eyes. Let's just hope the next 24 hours goes quickly and it's not as catastrophic as predicted.
omg...we will be praying for everyone..that is insane. ..
o.m.g.more prayers. lots more.
It stops your heart doesn't it? Just have to hope that those in its path have been able to evacuate safely. What a thing to have to wait for...x
Dear A-M, I just look at these pictures and feel very frightened. I am hoping that all the preparations are going to be sufficient and if property is lost and damaged, no one loses their life. It is almost too stressful to think about.
Errrrrk, I really needed to see that at 3:30pm here in Townsville. Tee Hee. Nothing we can do now, all the preparation is done."fingers and toes people" FF (2010)I'll keep updating as much as I can,Louise
Please God, can we have a miracle?Angex
A M just been on that site 5 min ago now I am feeling sick I dont want it to drop any more & I pray for all the people in the centre of it :(( Queensland does not need this right now!!
What the???!!! I wasn't worried about my rellies in Howard near Rockie & my very sprightly soon-to-be 100 Great Aunt in Hervy Bay. Looking at this I now am.Millie xx
Its just so so scary! I really feel for those up north..mother nature at its worst and we just have to sit tight and wait! :( I'm really nervous about how bad this is going to be.
OMG the television footage of people being turned away from overcrowded evacuation centres is breaking my heart. A-M xx
These images really do put things into sharp perspective.Prayers and lots of them, that's all we can offer now.Felicity x
Sobering and terrifying - an illustration of the vastness of Mother Nature's wrath and we can do nothing to stop it. How do hurricanes dissipate? *Do* they ever just miraculously dissipate? ...Because you've already had more than enough to deal with so I'm maybe extremely foolishly hoping for some kind of a last minute miracle, not just for Queensland, but for everyone, everywhere in that part of the world who may be in her path.
Again the unfathomable is about to hit QLD. It is beyond comprehension for me. I sit here safe in NSW on the mid coast, yet my heart is palpitating out of its' chest in fear for all in Yasi's path.My thoughts and prayers are with you all.Sandy K
The news showed hospital patients being evacuated from Cairns hospital, many are elderly and very frightened. Our emergency services are 100/10. I just feel so sick about this A-Mi. What has our beautiful Qld done to deserve these dreadful events?xxx
OMG it is so surreal, can't believe it's happening. I have many friends in Cairns and their messages by the hour have me so worried. I can't fathom it.And to think this time next month, I will be a Cairns resident :(
Stay safe NthQlders! I'm watching this develop- hoping, wishing, praying it won't be as bad as expected. Category five. Holy sheet!http://www.bom.gov.au/products/IDR192.loop.shtml
I can't even imagine, that is just devastating! I pray that everyone stays safe!
Holy Moly! What more can come that way?....Are hearts are with those in the path of the cyclone, hopefully land fall weakens it.
Thanks for stopping by and taking the time to leave me a comment. I love hearing from you. A-M xx
