Last Day In Paris

This lovely lady paints beautiful pictures of the Louvre. I purchased a dear little watercolour from her, in hues of blue, featuring the top left hand corner of the Louvre (Royal Palace) rooftop, chimney and turrets (just above my head). Beautiful detail. I will share it with you when I get home. She could not speak one word of English so we had great fun. She was over the moon to learn that her little 'tresor' (treasure) was going to take pride of place on my desk all the way back home in Australia. "L'Australia est un long, long, chemin!"

.... and so begins the long journey home. See you soon.

AM
thank you for "my" holiday you have taken me on.
I have thoroughly enjoyed all that I have known it to be.

Safe travels for your return and am sure you have 2 children that can not wait to see their mother as you can not wait to see them. Oh the heart pangs!

Each photo took me to soulful places for my heart and mind. I "hear" music when I look at certain photos.

I wonder what music or songs came to your mind when wandering streets, museums and enjoying all the french fair.

This last photo of you with your watercolour in hand brings this song to my mind,

Dream A Little Dream:

Sweet dreams till sunbeams find you

Sweet dreams that leave all worries far behind you

But in your dreams whatever they be

Dream a little dream of me.

See you soon, well and happy

Oh yes Lou Lou, I have had a musical soundtrack playing in my head at all times! Anything from Debussy on piano to Mozart violin concertos to whistling the theme from 'blackadder' when near anything mediaeval! A-M xx

You look so beautiful, like Claire Danes! An Paris... The most lovely, amazing, romantic city in the entire world! I was in Paris twice, look at me in the picture! Not so chic like you, but confortable. By the way, Paris, Rio de Janeiro and Sidney are wonderful cities. An I agree! (Sidney in pictures, because I don't know) Have a good trip!
