Did you see 'Chooka' on 'Australia's Got Talent' the other night? Bless his little 'farm-boy' heart. Oh I so hope he gets his houseboat and piano on the Murray. He reminds me so much of my cousin, Wade, who we lost in a tragic workplace accident many years ago. Think of you often Wade.... and you too Marina xx.

PS. ... and that lad, Jack, singing Whitney Houston! ... no wonder Brian ran up on stage and kissed him on the cheek.... talent! As my boys said, "Bieber... eat your heart out!" My boys are not allowed to watch TV during the school week so we had the quick 'Chooka viewing' during breakfast the next morning. 10 minutes later, 'big son' was doing a piano practice! Nothing like witnessing talent to motivate. Sorry apartment neighbours, for the early morning 'piano wakeup'!

That is so lovely, I got a bit teary! We've decided to add Paris on to our trip (I can't believe it's only a 2 hour train trip from London!) - as a very recent visitor, do you have any tips? Rachaelxx
ReplyDeleteHe's very handsome in a very Johnny Depp sort of way. Talented too!
ReplyDeleteI know weren't those 2 amazing, I had goose bumps with both of them. Seriously incredible unassuming talent. Chooka would definately inspire your boys.
ReplyDeleteChooka and the blonde bieber boy were AMAZING weren't they. Hubby and I both had goose bumps watching them. I love shows like that, ordinary people with the guts to show off their talents - so cool!

Thank you so much for posting this. We didn't see it but Chaps has been hearing about it so it was my job to source it on youtube but you've done it for me. Thank you :)
ReplyDeleteI had goosebumps the whole time watching that. He is a prodigy!
I would pay a lot of money to see him play.

ReplyDeleteWhat a talent Chooka is! He spoke with such clarity of that dream of playing music for the rest of his life. He has visualised it already, so he's halfway there...at 16!!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for posting that! Enjoyed it here in Canada!
ReplyDeleteOoh will have to check and see if AGT airs here. Chooka is amazing! I will have to show master 8 who has just started learning keyboard.
ReplyDeleteAmazing, I saw the blonde boy and he was amazing. I missed Chooka, so thanks.
ReplyDeleteThank you A-M. :-) Marina xxx
ReplyDeleteNow I know why he wants to live on the Murray in a houseboat? He lives in Cardross - about half an hour drive from the Murray River.
ReplyDeleteChooka has amazing talent, I hope he goes through to the finals.
