Love brutal, as long as it's above head-banging level! Macho!

I do appreciate what you see in these but they are a bit 'deep-sea diving apparatus' for me. That said, they will fit perfectly somewhere and I would love to see it.

Hi! Tanks for the visit the other day. Hope you understood something of what I write about because I'm guessing your Swedish is not that great ;-) but correct me if I'm wrong. My husband had a look at the blog that same evening and used the translation tool and I can tell you we were crying with laughter. That tool makes things soooo funny and sometimes so hilariously wrong. But my rhubarbs are still without a home during our transition period. I was also going to mention that we do know someone in common, Marie Söderberg from Classic Style, she was the one who told me about your blog. Got to go now, school pick- up.

Hi A-M, Personally, I'm not a fan .... too heavy or something, maybe the chain?? They would look perfect somewhere though! What about lamps? Do you have any lamps? Specifically, something pretty close to the one in the master bedroom in 'the house' ... from the photos in Home Beautiful? Let me know as I need one!

Yes, Beck, you either like 'industrial' or you don't. I am being sucked in by the whole industrial aesthetic. I never thought I would but I am! I had to move on from the French thing... somewhere. Although still love French. Good to get honest feedback. Thank you everyone. Sometimes one is too close to it all! Ok, will hunt for similar lamps to master bedroom. Tricky, as all sold out... but will rise to the challenge. Lurking suppliers if you have similar, get your people to call my people, i.e., me. Thanks! A-M xx

Hi A-M,
Gosh I've been missing in action for ages.
I've been catching up with lots of your posts, and I just love the de-cluttering post.
I am in the middle of a shambles - we still haven't had the cyclone damage fixed here, and it's half the house.
I am seriously going to have to follow your very sage advice. I've printed Leo's post and it's on my desk - on top of the clutter.
I am going to try and A-M myself and de-clutter.
love
Lou

They're fab. I think mixing some industrial elements like these lights into a traditional Queenslander would look amazing. The mash-up of two styles keeps it interesting. Amber

Ok, you want honesty so here goes...please quit showing me so many gorgeous light fixtures! You are making me want to rip out everything I own and replace them with these...and I can't afford that right now! ;-)
