Time For A Super Gorgeous Kitchen

Ok, so this has got it all for me. Everything. Symmetry, exposed rustic beams, cabinetry that looks like furniture, furniture! (those chairs!), touches of black, serene neutral colours, freestanding stove, timber floors, shaker style cabinetry, gorgeous lights and lamps!.... baskets, shutters (and black at that... don't they work well)... and look at that table. Yep, everything. Bit of French, bit of Hamptons, bit of Industrial. Sigh. I love it to bits.

  2. OMG, everywhere you look there is a thing of beauty - be it a handle, a chair detail, a cabinet detail, timber beam texture, stove knobs.......I'd live in this room if I could & I don't even like cooking!! LOL !

  3. Hello AM

Oh - very nice indeed, there is a feature everywhere. I love the balance and the harmony it brings.
It really is a dream kitchen dining - I am not sure how the large chairs would go so close to the oven and stove top (eg: your favourite roast or spaghetti bol :) being simmered.

But anyway - It really is divine.

Hope you are well and loving life.
    Have a lovely day

  8. Hi A-M just wondering if you could give some info re your bathroom. What height and depth was your vanity and I was wondering about your opinion re tiles to the ceiling in bathrooms? Also any info re the mirrors that were in the bathroom. One more question, what brand of vanity bowls did you use? I am currently looking at redoing my bathroom and am trying to work out styles I like etc and I did love your photo of your bathroom. Do you think having marble countertops in a bathroom is a disaster waiting to happen? Thanks for having a beautiful blog

  10. Stunning kitchen! I have made a copy of it for my 'dream home' file. At the moment I'm building contemporary houses but I've got my sights set on a little farm for weekend getaways followed by eventual retirement. THIS is where my hearts at! LOVE it! Love your blog.

  13. I love your design discoveries and filter them all away for the day when I pluck up the courage to do a bit of renovation work here at home (builders give me the heebie jeebies I'm afraid). This kitchen has a timeless, welcoming, solid and serene look to it - definitely my preferred style and definitely one to remember. :)

  16. Awesome!!! Is it me or can anyone else imagine spaghetti sauce and wine spilled on the upholstered chairs featured in today's kitchens? I am a bit mess when I cook. Maybe these are kitchens just for looks? Great Pic, AM. Love, Heidi
