My Brothers

Spent yesterday with my brothers and their families. All the kids were discussing what they wanted to be when they grew up.... Doctors, Horse Vets, Gymnasts. My little nephew piped up and said, "I want to be a Daddy like my Daddy". What greater testament to being a great father than having your little son want to be you as a profession when he grows up. My brothers are beautiful men.... compassionate, honest, loving, principled.... great role models for my boys. My sister in laws are lucky girls! I see a lot of my brothers in my boys as they are growing up.

We finished the day with a cracking family soccer match.  Brutal at times. Lots of tears as little girls were knocked over and knees were skinned!

It was good. Being with my family. I love them.

Sounds just lovely - I wish I had brothers or sisters, but at least my hubby has a brother. :-)

Family is such a blessing! Especially when you're blessed to have a close family that are your lifetime friends!

Hello A-M

I adore family anytime - I am a real attached family gal.
Your soccer game sounds wonderful and I relate to the tears and skinned knees - that sounded like me when I was little (I was always the littlest and everyone was bigger than me - I tried to compete just as well though).

I think you are lucky to have those lovely brothers of yours - but I also think your boys are the product of you and your amazing persona. Your beautiful teachings and your daily being their wonderful mother - no wonder they are such well rounded children and such great achievers scholastically.

have a great day

I wanted to be a hairdresser when I grew up but my mum said," you don't want to be on your feet all day" so what did I do.... Became a primary school teacher( always on our feet!!!) .
Lovely for you to have such great male role models for your boys in your family.
Wishing you a better week A-M :-)

Sounds like a fun day was had, other than the skinned knees. Sometimes I think I'd like to have a bigger family to share those fun time with.
