This morning I would like to be in Paris.
...sitting here, under a cosy blanket, in a little cafe in Rue St Dominique.
....peering in the window while sipping my coffee, umming and ahhing over what to have for breakfast.
I'll just finish this before I do the school lunches.
Happy Monday!

Can I join you - I´d sure love to if you´re going in that direction! :-)

Paris... :-)
This might sound like a bit of an odd comment but.... do they wash those blankets daily? Not sure I would feel too comfortable cozying up under a blanket that someone before me had coughed over or spilt their scrambled eggs on. (Darn OCD!) ;)Sharyne
ReplyDeleteDear A-M, for years I had this dream of being in Paris all by myself, without a hurry, just walking around the city, visiting museums, and eating everything I wanted.
ReplyDeleteIt was a beautiful dream, but it has not come true, yet. You are a lucky girl who could live this dream! I love your pictures and they will keep me dreaming for a while.
Have a wonderful week, my dear.
Sigh...dreamy! I'd love to live in Paris. Rue St Dominique is terrific, we stayed in an apartment just around the corner from there.
ReplyDeleteI'll join you. I'm always dreaming of Paris. Oui!
ReplyDeleteKel x
Me too! Beautiful photo's.

Oh wouldn't it be lovely..but just to make us feel better those sitting in the cafe might be dreaming of a big wonderful house in Australia...then no need to escape to a little cafe;)
ReplyDeleteOh I would like to go too! I've never been, but it looks sensational! Hope you have a great day x
ReplyDeleteAnd, I would like to come too. I am good like that, wouldn't want you to not have anyone to talk to on the way.
ReplyDeleteoh yes please!! that would be wonderful...
ReplyDeleteJust had a beautiful day dreaming moment.... thanks for sharing. Doesn't cost anything to dream and share with bloggers.
ReplyDeleteYou never know you may be blogging from there some day.
Have a great day.
Louwink ; )
The best way to start the busy week ever. I'll carry those images and the smell of those croissants (I can truly smell them) with me throughout the week. Have an amazing day A-M!
ReplyDeleteXO,
Andrea
If we both leave now, we can meet up tomorrow for breakfast!
ReplyDeleteKat :)

ReplyDeleteI would definitely have to start running by then.

ReplyDeleteNow i wish i was in Paris & i'm hungry!! Argh!! Love Posie
ReplyDeleteGuess what A-M! My husband & I will be going in april - yippeeeeeee!.
ReplyDeleteNever been - so excited but soooo apprehensive, too after having heard so many negative things about the French. Please tell me they're wrong :0
After having hit Trip Advisor, I've discovered that there is just far too much to see in the little time we have, but I really, really, really just want to WANDER.........can't wait!
My tummy is rumbling now!! hope you had a great day too! :)
ReplyDeleteI was there this time last year, and every single day since then I have wished I was back there. I miss it desperately!
ReplyDeleteFunny how a place can find its way into your heart and soul and remain there indefinitely.
It's the baguettes that I miss..... light as feathers! *sigh*
ReplyDeleteYes, Paris does get into your soul. I had no plans.. I just wandered. I did not find them rude at all. I bounced around and spoke my very average French and just soaked it up. Start every conversation with a smile... that's my advice. And tell them you are from Australia... they love that!" Je suis d'Australie"! Telling everyone "J'adore Paris"... sort of made them happy too. A-M xx
ReplyDeleteThese photos make my heart sing!! Oh to be in Paris soaking up all the beauty and atmosphere with a coffee in hand and one of those cosy blankets over my lap :)
