Well done to you. It's hard getting through, but the rewards are enormous. And the smart people take all they can from difficult times and learn, reflect and share their insights. You've done all that. Here's to a wonderful year ahead.
You might have labelled this post as waffle, but it is far from just waffle! Your positivity is fabulous and I really enjoy reading this blog. Thank you!!
You are inspirational in the way you have handled everything that has been thrown your way in the last year - and, as Kellie says, with such dignity. I hope you and your boys have many more good times in the year ahead.
Definitely not waffle A.M. The quote from Ghandi will be glued to my fridge. So true. Wishing you and your precious boys the happiest of years ahead. x KL
I so rarely comment but I do remember the shock of events last year and have loved reading between the lines your growth in recent months - although I think the courage, strength and generosity have always been there.
Righto then sweet girl, now that the first year has been given the flicko, time to let rip! You know you can do anything you set your mind to, so go grab what you want with both hands & run with it. I had the bestest time of my life in that second year - got the best job ever, had a fabulous fling with a bad boy (we all need to get that one out of our system!), spent some amazing times with the kids, bought a house all of my own & met MOTH. I'm sure you'll top that list in a heartbeat! Millie xx
Congrats to you. Youve also been a great role model to others Im sure. I loved reading Millies comments. Sounds like there is some fun and adventure ahead. Go get em! Fiona
Wow! I don't have anything of value to add to what others have already said. But, thank you for the Ghandi quote, which I have seen elsewhere today already (!) - it will be going up on a wall somewhere where everyone can see it in this house.
I keep my house impeccably tidy so I never feel like I need to do any housework. The house looks perfect but I never really clean it - just a bit here & there. It's a great trick & everyone thinks I'm a neat freak but I'm actually really lazy!! Just stumble across your great blog & I look forward to popping back for some more entertainment! Well done to you and the boys A-M. A very hard year all around - you should be so proud as the way you have coped and got both yourself and the boys through this has been amazing.
You are a true inspiration to me A-M. You have kept the essence of you throughout this journey. You haven't hidden from the good, bad or ugly. I'm so proud of you and wish I lived closer so I could have Saturday morning eggs with you and catch up over a cuppa. Sending you happy thoughts from across the pond!
A milestone indeed. Onward and Upward then. You seem always full of grace and that positive attitude shows through in your posts constantly. Congratulations :))
Of course we are still here with you A-M, we wouldnt want to be anywhere else!!! Congrats on surviving the first year with such style and grace. Cheers to you xx
Not only are we still here, we've brought our friends too!! I'm doing a week of imperfect posts, but trust me, they are not negative!! Next week i'll do a week of successes & good fortune. They are just to lighten blogland for a week & make us giggle at my mistakes & silly behaviour. Perfect does not equal happiness & it's a dangerous word, that is my point. Loving your sentiments today, you're so strong & vibrant, congratulations. Love Posie
Catching up on posts, I just want to say that whether you intended to be or not, Thank You for being such an inspiring Woman! Your strength and grace have carried you through this year beautifully. Thank you for your honesty and generosity in sharing with all of us all around the globe!
Thank you everyone for your support and love. You have helped me through a challenging year... and I am better for it all. Your comments warm my heart. Thank you for staying with me, encouraging me, empowering me, laughing with me and sharing your lives with me. A-M xx
This is where I muse about home design, interiors, my life, my boys and stuff that sort of stops my heart. I have an online store full of my favourite Hamptons style lighting over at www.capecoddesigns.com.au ... and ... I'm currently planning my next house build.
You have done well to come out the other side! Onward on upward as they say... Have a lovely weekend with your boys. ;-)
