Next time I build, I want to incorporate some 'interesting spaces'... like this beautiful staircase library. You can see just off to the left, there is an entryway to an office... so it's not just a little staircase library nook... but a path to somewhere. What a perfect entry to an office. I'd make it as far as the window seat.
Happy Friday!

What a clever use of a space. Wish I could use this idea in my home. Love it. x
ReplyDeletewhat a fabulous use of space instead of a plain empty landing. i love it. will pin this for when we build our upstairs!

Yes, this is the type of home I would love to build! I could spend a lot of time in that area, Janell

ReplyDeleteHi AM, Yes, this is lovely. Its recently been on foxtel on This Old house. It is an extension at the back of a Dutch gable? house mmm in newton or Boston. Husband & wife both avid writers and readers. Through to the left is a boook lined office. ( in the trees!)
ReplyDeleteoops. Too keen to comment...didn't read your comment properly.
ReplyDeleteLove, love, love that library space. I think a library would have to be one of my top 5 things to include if I am ever in a position to build the house of my dreams...or even renovate one with enough space!
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love this space.....can you put an order in for me too! ;-)
ReplyDeleteI love the old terraces that have these different levels and what a magic use for the space. Absolutely love it.
